A fan of enlightenment since 1986!

A little more about my story

I was born into a family where art, spirituality, and self-expression were the norm— but growing up in New York City meant navigating both endless possibility and chaos. The knowledge and wisdom I acquired from this journey gifted me with both a thick skin and a unique perspective.

Fascinated with the potential and missteps of the human mind, I received a BA in Psychology and Sociology from University of Michigan. Post-graduation, while doing all the things you do in your 20s, I was searching for greater realities, both internally and externally.

Over the course of the next decade and a half, in the professional realm, I took steps in many directions, from running a behavioral psychology lab focused on EFT to bartending. I worked with a celebrated child psychologist and later assumed the role of financial controller for an asset-based lending firm. I launched and operated a children’s product company. I became a certified spinning, running, and Pilates coach, managing the group fitness program at a top-tier luxury gym. I even had a brief stint in the New York City real estate game. It’s entirely possible that I’m even forgetting a career or two!

In my personal realm, —perhaps the most real aspect of being a human being—I was navigating a divorce, the mental illness and eventual death of my father, undiagnosable maladies in my body and the unrelenting feeling within that I was living somebody else’s beautiful life. It was only when I reached my breaking point that I realized all the pain and suffering was my soul screaming to change direction so I could fulfill my life’s purpose.

That day finally came with a spiritual awakening experience that cracked me wide open. In an instant, it was as if I had finally tuned into the right channel, the right station or the right frequency. In doing so, all the static disappeared. Overnight I left my job, partner, home, family, friends and everything comfortable for an unknown country and reality.

That decision became the greatest course correction of my life. What followed was a year of deep personal excavation — healing my core wounds, tuning into my intuition, and finally coming home to myself. My coaching work was born from that place: grounded in lived experience, guided by joy and humor, and driven by a desire to help others return to their own center. I’m here now, fully aligned with my purpose — and I’m excited to walk with you as you find yours.
